    Mark began his insurance career with John Hancock as an agent. After achieving the Million Dollar Round Table he entered Management. Soon he diversified into the Health Insurance market and started his own company, Universal Benefit Plans.  The company grew to a National Independent Marketing Organization in over 40 states. Over the years, Mark has specialized in the development of Proprietary and Private Label Products for his marketing organizations, resulting in over 300 million in premium production. Always an innovator, Mark created the unique "Packaging Rules" marketing concept in the 90's.  Utilizing stand alone ancillary products (Critical Illness & 24 Hour Accident plans) to complement Health Insurance, creating comprehensive asset protection for individuals and small business owners alike.  This was the foundation of Marks success. Mark and his Team have created an unprecedented opportunity for Agents and Managers alike, to build sizable, lucrative, and persistent residual streams. “I’ve always been attracted to, and steer people to ventures that have no ceiling and more importantly residual revenue opportunities” Mark expressed recently at the Las Vegas Marketing Expo. Mark and his wife Rebecca live in Dallas Texas. They enjoy traveling to watch their son Connor play College tennis.

    Mike’s career in the wonderful world of insurance began in 1987 as a multi-line agent with Prudential in Cherry Hill, NJ. Soon after onboarding, he consulted with small business owners and identified endless opportunities to collaborate with them on how to save money and offer a more comprehensive benefits package. Consequently, he gained significant experience for many years in the health, life and supplemental insurance arena and his award-winning growth and leadership continues. Over the years Mike has become an experienced sales person and sales leader for various companies. Mike’s background consists of health, life, supplemental insurance both on the marketing and carrier side. Along the way growing sales, expanding distribution while increasing profitability. Mike has held various leadership roles including President of AHCP, EVP with Design Benefit Plans, NMD with US Health Group and SVP for Marsh/Mercer. He also ran sales practices for supplemental carriers such as Colonial and Aflac, which will bring tremendous experience and future vision to UBP. Mike lives in New Jersey with his wife of 30 years Denise and their son Michael.

Rebecca S LaFavre is the COO of UBP Insurance, responsible for Contracting, Operations, Finance and Marketing. Prior to joining UBP, Rebecca spent 30 years in banking. Her varied background as a Bank Executive included responsibilities for Bank Manager, Marketing, Finance, and Project Management. This vast expertise provided the perfect foundation for what she doing now.

    With an Education in Marketing and a life in Agriculture, my wife Diane and I have had farms where we raised and trained horses for nearly 30 years. I is as comfortable meeting with clients as he is sitting behind a horse. We currently reside in beautiful a Alachua , Florida, with several Horses and a myriad of other Dogs, Cats and creatures. 


    I quickly realized that assisting Seniors with important and complex decisions was my purpose.


    My expertise has brought comfort to thousands of individuals by assisting with matters most Insurance professionals do not understand. Social Security extra help, State Prescription assistance programs, Prescription savings assistance, third party private medical and prescription assistance are just a few of the things I have in depth knowledge. Helping vulnerable individuals receive Health Care services is my main goal.


    Being interested in Excellent Senior health and care has caused me to assist numerous individuals to enter the Insurance Senior Market.


    My expertise in local Community Marketing and Educational events has made it possible for me to share this important facet of the Insurance business, so others can properly and with Integrity , provide correct and excellent advice so Seniors have access to all the Benefits they are entitled to.
